A free AI visibility audit for your business

I look at how your business gets found online — on Google, in the directories, and inside AI assistants like ChatGPT. Within 24 hours you get a document with what I found, sorted by what costs you the most. No call needed, no sales pitch first.

Why now

Search has shifted. Most businesses have not

30%

of specific questions in German-speaking markets now start at an AI assistant rather than a search engine. In the US it is 16%.

60–85%

of the sources AI assistants cite are third-party sites — directories, booking portals, listicles. Not the business's own website.

customers looking for you will not find you when your Google profile and your website state different details. It is the most common finding in my audits.

This does not mean classic search is over — local queries still show the map pack more than 90% of the time. It means there are now two paths on which someone finds you, and most businesses only know one of them. The audit checks both.

What gets checked

Eight things that decide whether anyone finds you

Google Business Profile

Primary category, completeness, photos, opening hours. The primary category is the single strongest lever in local ranking, and most businesses have it set wrong.

What AI assistants say about you

I ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews for businesses like yours — every prompt several times, because single runs fluctuate. You end up knowing whether you appear at all, and who gets named instead.

Visibility in your area

Searches with a district or place name are what customers actually type. I check whether you show up, or whether the neighbourhood is searching past you.

Your website's technical state

Reachability, certificate, mobile load time, mobile layout. A site that takes three seconds on a phone loses half its visitors before they see anything.

Listings and name consistency

WKO, Herold, FirmenABC and the relevant portals. What matters is not the number of listings but that name, address and phone number are identical everywhere.

Social media frequency

How often you post, compared to the most visible businesses in your field in your region. No judgement on your content, just the number.

The path to an enquiry

How many clicks from your home page to a booking request. Every extra step costs enquiries, and most sites have two too many.

Three competitors side by side

Three businesses near you, same checks. So you see where you stand, not just what is missing.

What you get

A document you can use without me

  • A document with every finding, in priority order
  • For each point: what it concretely costs you
  • The three things you can fix yourself in an hour
  • A comparison with three competitors near you
  • An answer within 24 hours

What it is not

So you know what you are getting into

  • Not a sales call. You get the document without talking to me first.
  • Not an automated report. I look at every point myself, which is why it takes up to 24 hours.
  • Not an obligation. You can implement all of it yourself or hire someone else.
  • Not shared. Your details go to no one, and I publish no findings about your business.

About the audit

What people ask beforehand

What does the audit actually cost?
Nothing. I do it because roughly one in four audits turns into a project, and I would rather show you what I see than explain afterwards what I can do.
How long does it take?
Usually you have the document within 24 hours; over a weekend, on Monday.
What do you need from me?
The name of the business and, if you have one, the website address. Nothing else. No logins.
Is this an automated scan?
No. I use tools for measurements like load time; the rest I look at myself. A pure tool output is something you could pull yourself in five minutes.
What happens afterwards?
You get the document and a fixed-price offer for whatever you want to hand over. If you do not get back to me, you do not hear from me again.
