The protection of your personal data matters to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, Austrian TKG 2021). This privacy policy informs you about the key aspects of data processing on our website.

Audit request form

When you contact us via our audit request form, we collect the data you provide (name, business, website, email address). The purpose of processing is handling your request. The legal basis is Art 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures taken at your request).

The data is stored with our hosting provider Upstash (Upstash Inc., EU region) and sent by email via Resend (Resend Inc., USA) for notification purposes. A data processing agreement based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) is in place with Resend to ensure an adequate level of data protection for transfers to the USA.

Plausible Analytics

No web analytics is currently active on this website. If it is activated, only the privacy-friendly service Plausible Analytics will be used. This service is cookie-free, collects data only in anonymized/aggregated form, and does not process personal data. Plausible Analytics is loaded only after your active consent via our cookie/consent notice (legal basis: Art 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, no analytics takes place.

Calendly

For appointment scheduling we offer an embedded Calendly widget (Calendly LLC, USA). The Calendly embed is loaded only after you actively click the corresponding button — before that click, no data is transmitted to Calendly and no third-party requests are triggered. Once you use Calendly, its privacy policy applies. Data transfers to the USA take place on the basis of the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

WhatsApp link

Our website contains a link that, when clicked, opens the WhatsApp application or WhatsApp Web (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.). A connection to WhatsApp is only established when you actively click this link. Any subsequent communication via WhatsApp is governed solely by the privacy policy of Meta/WhatsApp, over which we have no influence.

Hosting & server logs

This website runs on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). When you access the website, technical access data (including IP address, date, and time of access) is automatically stored in server log files. This processing serves to ensure the trouble-free and secure operation of the website and is based on our legitimate interest (Art 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies & local storage

This website does not use marketing or tracking cookies. Only two technically necessary cookies are set:

NEXT_LOCALE stores whether you accessed the site in German or English, so your language choice is kept as you navigate.
cf_clearance is set by Cloudflare, our security provider, and serves to defend against automated attacks.

Both are exempt from consent under § 165(3) of the Austrian TKG 2021 because they are strictly necessary to deliver the page you requested. This is also why no cookie banner currently appears on this website: there is nothing for you to consent to. Should an analytics tool be used in the future, it will be loaded only after your active consent, and your decision will then be stored in your browser's localStorage so you do not have to make it again on every visit.

You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to the processing of your personal data. To exercise them, contact [email protected].
